Application/Screening Process
It is important that all prospective owners consider certain basic issues that are relevant to owning a puppy. To assist in determining whether your personal situation, lifestyle, and preferences are compatible with owning a particular breed or specific puppy, we ask that all potential buyers complete our application which will give us a basis for helping you to choose a puppy that will be just right for your situation. We also ask that you indicate that you have reviewed the terms of our contract, health guarantee, holding deposits, shipping information, transitional care tips, etc. so that you may have all your questions answered before entering into a contract to purchase a puppy. It is very important that prospective owners have all their questions answered prior to placing a holding deposit, as holding deposits are non-refundable.
Pricing
Puppies are priced individually depending on their sex, markings, and overall quality. Generally, females are slightly higher than males because they are in greater demand. Please call or e mail for price quotes on specific puppies pictured in this site.
Registration
Your pure breed puppy will be eligible for AKC registration only after you have provided proof of spay or neuter. This means that while your pet is a registered AKC pet, it is not to be used for breeding purposes, unless prior arrangements have been made in advance of the sale, and your contract specifically states that you are purchasing your dog with full breeding rights. F1 hybrids are not elgible for AKC registration.
Contract and Health Guarantee
You will be given a written, signed contract and limited one year replacement health guarantee at the time of your purchase. In order to qualify for the health guarantee, you must comply with the terms of the contract, which includes having your puppy microchipped at the time of purchase, taking the puppy to a veterinarian for an initial health check, and providing proof of vaccination according to the schedule specified in your contract. Deposit on Available Puppies
We will gladly hold a puppy with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price of the puppy. Puppies are sold to approved buyers on a first come, first serve basis. The balance of the purchase price plus applicable shipping fees are due 10 days prior to shipping or by the 10th week of age, whichever comes first. Please be aware that we can not hold puppies conditionally without a holding deposit, and that once a holding deposit has been placed it is non-refundable and non-transferrable unless we cancel the contract.
Delivery
We do not meet customers at remote sites to deliver puppies unless by special arrangement. Please call to discuss your individual needs. We occasionally make arrangements to personally deliver a puppy to your nearest airport, flying the puppy in the cabin of the aircraft in an under-seat carrier, or we can help you make arrangements to pick your puppy up in person at the Little Rock National Airport, flying it home with you in-cabin for a delivery fee of $100.00.
Shipping
We ship our puppies via air carrier when suitable arrangements can be made for a climate-controlled flight, and the flight itinerary is not too stressful for the puppy. We take care to acclimate the puppy to its shipping crate for several days to minimize the unfamiliarity of the situation. Commercial carriers require that the puppy be a minimum of eight weeks old, and have a recent certificate of health from a vet. Although puppies are shipped in the cargo hold of the airplane, which is climate-controlled and of course pressurized, the ambient temperature must not exceed 85 degrees at any point along the itinerary. Please call to discuss your individual needs. Transportation costs are generally $325.00 which includes the shipping crate, veterinarian exam, supplies,and transportation to the airport.
Pay by Credit Card
Payment of deposit or balance can be processed over the phone through any major credit card or Paypal. Subsequent payments can be made via credit card, personal check, money order, Paypal, Wal-Mart Money Gram, or cash if you pick up your puppy in person. We do not accept personal checks.
